A Toolkit for Re-Examining Knowledge and Beliefs on Bullying
Eyes on Bullying is a toolkit that helps users understand bullying, to re-examine their own knowledge and beliefs about bullying, and to shape their students’ behaviors and beliefs. The resource is designed for caregivers and parents of preschool and school-age children and youth in child care programs, camps, and afterschool/youth programs. The toolkit, available in PDF form, provides insights, strategies, activities, and resources to address bullying. The toolkit is designed to be completed sequentially, and includes activities such as reflections on beliefs about bullying, role-playing, and a quiz regarding perceptions on the role of a bystander. The website also provides a list of books, articles, reports, and websites devoted to preventing bullying in children’s lives.
