A bad case of tattle tongue
A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue, written by Julia Cook and illustrated by Anita Du Falla, is a storybook targeted for children 4 years of age or older that teaches about the difference between tattle taling and warning others regarding important matters. The story is centered on a young boy named Josh, who often alienates himself from family and friends, as he tattles frequently to his teacher and parents. One night, the tattle tale fairy visits Josh in his dreams, and informs him of the difference between tattle taling, and warning adults when other kids are in danger of being hurt. By the end of the book, Josh learns to differentiate the two and is better able to build friendships with his peer group because of this skill.
