Wyman’s Teen Outreach Program (TOP) is designed to help foster the success of economically-disadvantaged youth by offering curricula on a variety of topics, including emotion management, goal setting, healthy decision making, empathy, and communication. TOP is a designated CASEL SELect program and has many partners, such as James Madison University, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Planned Parenthood.
Created in the United States, TOP is designed for middle and high school students. The program can be applied during school, after school, and in community settings. Studies have shown program success for females, minorities, and students who had been academically disciplined.
