A Self-Regulation Toolkit for Educators
This online toolkit is designed to help schools and educators incorporate and assess self-regulation in their daily teaching practices. Developed by renowned researcher in self-regulation, Dr. Stuart Shanker, this toolkit includes tools for understanding and assessing various aspects of students’ self–regulation, as well as a classroom environment assessment checklist and a rubric for monitoring teachers’ own self-regulation competencies.
This toolkit is part of the MEHRIT Center (TMC) website, which also includes other useful resources such as The Self-Regulation Song by Raffi, books and blog posts by Dr. Shanker and other influential researchers/practitioners in this field. The MEHRIT center was established by Dr. Shanker with the mission to mobilize research on self-regulation to teaching and parenting practice.
