Caring for Syrian Refugee Children: A Program Guide for Welcoming Young Children and Their Families, developed by Childminding Monitoring, Advisory and Support, an organization funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, aims to provide knowledge and tools to understand and respond to the unique experiences and needs of Syrian refugee children. The guide contains background information on the Syrian refugee experience, tip sheets filled with practical strategies designed to be implemented directly into practice, as well as links to additional resources, such as posters, and handouts for parents available in both English and Arabic.
