A searchable database for identifying appropriate social-emotional screening tools
The Center for Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (CECMHC) in the United States is a collaboration of research partners from Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development, University of Colorado at Denver, University of South Florida, and Vanderbilt University. Acknowledging that social-emotional screening systems and assessment tools vary greatly in terms of appropriateness and effectiveness, CECMHC developed an interactive database to help educators and mental health professionals identify assessment tools and screening systems that are best suited to the goals of their particular programs. The database is searchable by assessment purpose, age range, time for administration and scoring, readability, social validity, psychometric properties, and cost.
