Founded in 1976, Lesson One is a professional development program that is designed to help schools establish and implement a School Cultural Development Ecosystem that would enhance social and academic success in pre-K to Grade 6 classrooms. This system incorporates skills such as cooperation, empathy, and accountability through experiential games and activities, and provides training for modeling, administrative training and support, as well as parent outreach and workshops.

Lesson One provides consultations, and workshops and seminars that are presented in over 30 states in the US and in Canada. Depending on the school’s needs, Lesson One Educational Consultants will visit the school, work with staff and administration, and model how to incorporate the ecosystem into the classroom.
