This compendium is maintained by the National Center on Safe and Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE) and is funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Students. It consists of reliable and valid surveys and assessments of school climate. The compendium has measures for students, faculty and staff, family, and community members and has measures that are appropriate for preschool through high school classroom environments. Measures are also grouped by federal and non-federal surveys. The site is updated regularly with additional measurement tools.
