School Mental Health-ASSIST (SMH ASSIST) is a support team designed to aid Ontario’s 72 school boards in the promotion of student mental health and well-being in a systematic, intentional, context sensitive, and evidence-based framework. They offer support through leadership and coordination, resources, and implementation coaching.

The SMH ASSIST website includes links to resources that can be filtered by audience, topic and type, a subscription to email updates about their work, as well as a “frequently asked questions” section that addresses inquiries about the support team, school and classroom resources, as well as how to get help for your students.
