A searchable online registry of evidence-based programs that support mental health promotion
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to enhance behavioral health. The National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practice (NREPP) was developed to help the public learn more about evidence-based interventions that are available for implementation. NREPP provides an online registry of more thanĀ 340 substance abuse and mental health interventions. The registry is searchable by areas of interest (e.g., mental health promotion), outcome categories, age, and keyword. A detailed summary report in provided for each intervention included in the registry that includes a general description of the program and information of the quality of research, readiness for dissemination, replications of the intervention, cost, and contact information.
