The Canadian webpage on Medical/Disability Information for Classroom Teachers is part of the LearnAlberta website. Visitors to the page can access information on how to support students with a variety of medical conditions and disabilities. Currently, information is provided for 38 medical conditions and disabilities. In addition to a brief description of each condition/disability, teachers are provided with checklists to help them address implications for planning and awareness, instruction, as well as the social and emotional well-being of students. Each resource concludes with a series of questions that teachers should ask themselves in order to help them fully consider the resources/services required to better help students struggling with specific medical conditions or disabilities.
