This Teacher’s Guide developed by KidsHealth, an online health education resource supported by the Nemours Foundation, includes two lessons on suicide prevention for use with high-school students. The guide includes discussion questions, activities for students, reproducible materials, as well as several links to articles for teens about suicide, and a description of the related US National Health Education Standards. Stated objectives of the lessons include providing students with opportunities to research and demonstrate their knowledge of risk factors and warning signs of suicide.
